Synopsis - On the brink of signing with a major music label, a talented hip hop trio and their manager have a major falling out and reluctantly agree to play one final night together. On the way to their last gig in Las Vegas, their car runs headlong into a tornado and they are magically transported back to 1969 on the road to Woodstock where they learn that the irrepressible Sly - of Sly and the Family Stone is the only one who can return them to the future. They embark on an epic journey to get to Sly - battling seemingly insurmountable obstacles -- torrential rains, bad acid and an alien, mostly white hippy culture. Realizing the highways are now clogged with millions of cars, the trio disguise themselves as a 60's band, board a helicopter and fly right up to the main stage. To their horror, the they discover that they are inadvertently killing people whenever they tell them anything about the future. The stakes are heightened when it turns out they are being pursued by Mr. Sinclair, a federal agent assigned to seek out and eradicate paranormal phenomena. While Hendrix is performing his iconic closing Woodstock set, the trio confronts Mr. Sinclair under the stage and use their knowledge of the future to overcome him. Covered in mud and exhausted, the threesome and their manager finally get their audience with Sly. Like a mystical shaman, Sly blesses them in an ad hoc ceremony and they board a helicopter that magically returns them back to the future. The trio, transformed by their "experience," put on a performance in Las Vegas that brings the house down. Not only is it clear they're back together as a unit, the label signs them on the spot.
